Jason Kwong is the Chief Innovation Officer for Chicken Soup for the Soul Entertainment. He oversees new initiatives for the company’s future growth and leads strategy, business development, and partnerships.
In his prior role, Mr. Kwong was Chief Strategy and Digital Officer for Redbox, where he was responsible for launching and growing all digital businesses which include Redbox’s Transactional Video on Demand (TVOD), Ad-Supported Video on Demand (AVOD), Free Ad Supported Television (FAST) channels, as well as digital-out-of-home (DOOH).
He has an extensive background in digital media and entertainment, with roles spanning content, business development, and strategy. He has held roles in mobile entertainment at Helio and Virgin Mobile, led content acquisition, merchandising, and strategy for the Otter Media-owned, Fullscreen's SVOD service, business development and licensing at Warner Bros. Digital Distribution, and content acquisition at Netflix.
Mr. Kwong received his B.A. in Economics and Psychology from the University of California, Los Angeles, and his MBA from the University of Southern California's Marshall School of Business.
