NEW YORK, N.Y.

Published on: July 13, 2022

Chicken Soup for the Soul Entertainment (Nasdaq: CSSE) announced today the launch of new cooking content Simply Raymond Blanc, hosted by celebrity chef Raymond Blanc, and Mary Berry at Home, hosted by celebrity chef Mary Berry (The Great British Bake Off) on their new Chicken Soup for the Soul streaming service premiering July 1st. These iconic cooking series will join other original content on the Crackle Plus streaming services including the series Tia Mowry’s Comfort Kitchen that premiered earlier this year.

Raymond Blanc is one of the most celebrated figures in culinary history. He is the patron chef at Le Manoir aux Quat’ Saisons, a restaurant and foodie destination in Great Milton, Oxfordshire, England. In the ten one-hour episodes of the original series Simply Raymond Blanc, the chef extraordinaire will share the secrets of a new collection of simple, delicious, achievable recipes that can be put together easily and quickly while delivering amazing results.

Mary Berry is the author of over 75 books on cooking and baking, including the 2009 best-seller, Baking Bible. In the four 30-minute episodes of Mary Berry at Home, this culinary artist takes viewers on a home-cooking crash course with meals she regularly prepares for her own family and friends. Guiding viewers through easy-to-follow steps, her fans can create gourmet dishes that will impress the masses at their next dinner gathering.

These series will join other celebrity cooking content including the series Rachel’s Coastal Cooking (Season 1, 12 episodes with Chef Rachel Allen), Rachel Khoo’s Kitchen Notebook: London (Season 1, 10 episodes with Chef Rachel Khoo), and Tia Mowry’s Comfort Kitchen. The six 30-minute episode series takes viewers into Mowry’s kitchen, teaching them to make all her favorite home-cooked recipes, with celebrity guests pitching in to chop, stir, taste, and laugh. Celebrity guests include Lilly Singh (The Bad Guys, Fahrenheit 451, Bad Moms), Sheryl Lee Ralph (Just Getting Started, Abbott Elementary, Motherland: Fort Salem), Paige Hurd (Power Book II: Ghost, Everybody Hates Chris, Hawaii Five-O), Pooch Hall (The Game, Cherry, Warehouse 13), Wendy Raquel Robinson (The Game, Something New), Coco Jones (Vampires vs. the Bronx, Good Luck Charlie), Terrell Grice (casting producer for Big Brother and MasterChef), and Tia’s children, Cree and Cairo.

“We’re so excited that Raymond Blanc and Mary Berry will be joining Tia Mowry among our growing community of top food stars,” said Jeff Meier, head of programming for Crackle Plus. “This new content is just the start for our team. Chicken Soup for the Soul's streaming AVOD service is your new go-to destination for high-quality, exclusive free food content, whether your goal is to find ideas for a big summer get together, or simply salivating over the delicious meals on the screen."
